OCIC (RCIA)
Ages 18+
Adult Faith Formation in the Catholic Church: OCIA?
What is the OCIA?
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is the class where an adult of any background, non-religious or faith, is able to learn about Catholicism to consider joining the Catholic Church and also where a baptized Catholic adult is able to continue learning about their Catholic Faith in order to complete one or more of their Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and First Communion.
What will I learn in the OCIA class?
You will learn everything from the reason why the Catholic Church is the Church Christ instituted on earth, to the mystery of the Triune God, to the Sacraments and why they exist as well as how they are practiced, to Social Justice and Religious Freedom Issues, to Virtue and Grace, as well as Sin, and the Four Last Things. You will also learn why you were created and for what purpose.
Saint Ann’s OCIA process is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith. If you are not yet sure whether you want to become Catholic, you are still welcome to participate as you make your decision.
Contact Dr. Sue Ellen Nolan at (239) 262-4256 Ext. 203 or email: faithformation@naplesstann.com.

Let’s Make It Formal!
We at Saint Ann welcome you, one and all, to our parish. We welcome guests from outside the Naples area as well as Catholics from the neighboring parishes who find our schedule or our liturgies more suited to their needs. For those of you who regularly attend Saint Ann but have yet to register, we cordially invite you to do so. Registering can ultimately help us to serve you better each week as well as at those pivotal times such as weddings, baptisms, in times of illness and for funerals. If you divide your time between Naples and some other city, you may still register here as a seasonable parishioner while remaining a member of your hometown parish. Registering with the parish is quick and easy. Registration forms are available from the parish website at www.naplesstann.com, from the parish office at 475 9th Avenue South or from one of the Ushers at Mass. You may email the completed form to Nancy Stec at secretary@naplesstann.com, drop it off at the parish office, mail it or simply put it in the collection basket. Whichever way you choose, we look forward to “making it formal” and welcoming you to your spiritual home here in beautiful Naples..
